BLACK BEAR
Saskatchewan boasts many big black bear and our
unique location on the forest fringe gives us easy access
to quality bear habitat in both the farmland and the forest. Saskatchewan boasts many color phase bears and our area is no exception. The spring black bear hunts
offer the hunter an excellent opportunity to harvest
bears weighing up to 500 pounds. Our hunters also have the chance to tag color phase bears; brown, cinnamon
and blonde.
In Saskatchewan we can bait bears.
We advise that you fly into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on a Saturday before your hunt and get a hotel room. Please contact us about travel arrangements to the lodge which is a 3-hour drive from Saskatoon airport. Once you get settled in, we site in your gun. Your black bear hunt will take place in the later afternoon over baited stands. We offer excellent accommodations, wonderful home cooked meals and professional guiding which includes skinning with trophy care, meat handling packaging and freezing.
