GEESE, DUCKS, UPLAND & SANDHILL CRANE Goose hunting is excellent with the highest goose population
in years.Canada's, Snow's, Speckle Bellied and Ross Geese
are the most plentiful.
Duck hunting has been GREAT the past few years with lots of Mallards, you will also see Pintails, Canvas Back, Wood, Green Wing and Blue Wing Teal. Upland game bird hunting includes Hungarian Partridge, Sharp-tail and Ruffed Grouse.If you like the big ones Sandhill Crane are plentiful in the area. Our guided bird hunts cover 5 wildlife management zones on the central flyway. We will pick you up at the hotel or airport in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and take you to our lodge, which is a 1/2-hour drive from the airport. We start each day off between 4 and 4:30 to get you to the pre-spotted goose shoot. After the goose shoot we usually return to the lodge for brunch then off to hunt upland game birds, or Sandhill Crane Hunting or late afternoon duck hunting. Evenings are back to the lodge for a delicious home cooked meal, enjoyable conversation and plans for the next days hunt.
