In 2002 we expanded our outfitting for black bear with only 8 tags.
We are a small camp with a max of 4 hunters per week in the latter part of May
We can offer you a thrill of a lifetime black bear hunt. It is in the Hudson
Bay area, north-eastern part of Saskatchewan.
I know this area very well as I have hunted and lived in the area. My
father and brothers still farm in the area.
Our unique location on the forest fringe gives us easy access to quality
bear habitat in both the farmland and the forest.
Saskatchewan boasts many color phase bears and our area is no exception.
In Saskatchewan we can bait bears.
We advise that you fly into Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on a Saturday before your hunt and get a hotel room. We will pick you up and take you to our lodge, which is a 3-hour drive from the airport.
Once you arrive at the lodge and get settled in, we get you to make sure that your gun in sited in. All hunts will take place in the later afternoon over baited stands. After you have shot the big one, our guides will professionally skin and handle the hides for you.
